About Precious Metals

Our designer Mai Manniche exclusively works with precious metals – i.e., gold and silver.

The silver collection is based on 925 sterling silver, which is 100% nickel-free. The jewelry is surface-treated with either a simple, matte finish, plated with 24-karat gold, black rhodium-plated, or rose gold-plated.

Both our regular gold platings and rose gold platings are 3 microns thick – which is one of the most durable coatings available. The black rhodium plating is a very strong black coating, topped with a special lacquer, ensuring significantly longer durability than ordinary oxidation. Rose gold plating is achieved by plating with regular gold mixed with copper, which gives it the pink hue.

The diamond collection is based on designs in 14 and 18 karat gold, as well as designs with a more raw look through the combination of 925 sterling silver plated with 24 karat gold or black oxidized.
