Precious metal
Our designer Mai Manniche works exclusively with precious metals – ie gold and silver.
The silver collection is based on 925 sterling silver, which is 100% nickel free. The jewellery is surface treated with either a simple, matte finish, gold-plated with 24 carat gold, black ruthinized or rose gold-plated.
Both our regular gildings and rose gildings are with 3 microns – which are the strongest coatings available. The black ruthinization is a very strong black coating with a special varnish ensuring a significantly longer life tha ordinary oxidation. The rose gilding is obtained by mixing ordinary gold with copper, adding the rose hue.
The diamond collection are based on designs in either 14 or 18 carat gold, as well as designs with a more raw look qua the combination of 925 sterling silver plated with 24 carat gold or black oxidized.
